Lucerne Seeds

      Almadar 51

Our company, M/s. Khoja Habib Mamad has been in the service of farmers since 1932. After a continuous effort of hard work, study research and experiments for over 25 years, selecting from kutchi Lucerne, the ‘Alamdar-51’ perennial Lucerne seed was developed which requires less water and supplies more quantity of Lucerne.

The leaves in Lucerne grown from ‘Alamdar-51’ are broad and oval shaped in contrast to any other Lucerne. An extra amount of digestible protein is obtained as the stem of this Lucerne is tender and contains more pulp, which results in the increment of quantity of milk and proportion of fat. In addition the health and wellbeing of cattle are increased. Therefore this method decreases the cost of milk production and cattle rearing

Seeds of Almadar 51 are produced in Kutch district where the temperature varies from 00C to 480C, hence they are suitable in every nook and corner of the country in adverse conditions. Under the guidance of experts who personally take care of the seeds and the work of a team of reliable, hardworking selected farmers we have been able to maintain a higher quality of seeds.

Production through Lucerne grown from ‘Alamdar-51’ is much higher in comparison to other that proves useful in times of scarcity, this perennial Lucerne seed, green fodder is also available in abundance throughout the year

This newly discovered Lucerne seed can be harvested every 18 to 22 days. As these are isolated from weed seed and cascutta seeds they are ‘VAIL FREE’ and therefore the fear of weeds are wiped off.

‘Alamdar-51’ perennial Lucerne seed has become highly popular because of its  high quality, reasonable price, and our quick and satisfactory services. We are heartily thankful to the farmers, milk producers, cattle rearers, horse rearers, businessmen, co-operative societies, government & non-government organizations for their support.

ucerne leaf has been used in tea and dietary supplements to help increase appetite and liveliness, reduce water retention, and as a stimulant for digestion and bowel action. It is a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and a way of preventing absorption of cholesterol from the diet.

The Soil Benefits Large legumes such as Lucerne and sainfoin are excellent soil improvers. When these crops are ploughed up they leave behind not only high levels of soil nitrogen but also deeply aerated soil as a result of their penetrating roots. This allows the movement of air and moisture through the soil which improves the soils structure affecting its ability to hold and drain water.

Green values" derived from soil improvement, reduced soil erosion, and improved water quality are difficult to quantify. Nevertheless, Lucerne contributes significantly to cropland soil improvement, stabilizing soil, and increasing water infiltration. Its extensive, deep, fibrous taproot system decreases soil density, improves soil structure, and decreases erosion.
